World's Fastest & Tallest Spinning Launch Coaster

From deep beneath the darkened sea, an ancient serpent rises. Ascend the spire and split the sky on Bakunawa — the fastest and tallest spinning launch coaster in the world.

Feel the pull of the eclipse as you launch through the world’s fastest inversion, reaching speeds up to 100 miles per hour. After spiraling 382 feet into the air, you plummet back to earth, spinning to the shore as Bakunawa returns to the sea.

This project’s main goal was to create a whole style/branding guide for Six Flags’s new record breaking attraction. Starting off with the overall theme which is inspired by Inspired by Bakunawa, a legendary creature of folklore, this coaster reimagines the serpent’s coiling ascent as it attempts to devour the moon. Our goal was to use the colors of the coaster as a base for the main colors of the creative and the typography to have a overall mystic/medieval feel which served to enhance the lore of the bakunawa mythos.

After establishing the branding guide for the new coaster/attraction it was then applied throughout different mediums such as digital campaigns, signage for inside the park as well as flyers, billboards and social media as well.
